The body of the choristers which can be ascribed as “the Levites of our days” established to declare the high praise of the Almighty in music. The Oasis singers is a combination of young talented believers with a passion for Christ, with multiple giftings and specialization in the music ministry i.e. Good dancers, soloist, good back up vocalist, song writers and composers and at the same time are instrumentalists etc.
We are people with the latent heart for music, we sacrifice our totality just to see the name of the Lord being glorified in His temple whenever we minister, we bring down the awesome presence of God, and carry the entire congregation into the high place of the almighty. It has always being so excited, in our Sunday Worship services, whereby, we are caught up in the presence of God, and revelation, prophecies and healing do takes place. To the glory of God.

1). We build our lives, morally, spiritually & physically; also creating an intimate relationship with the Lord; by setting some sound teaching model from the Bible, investing quality time to fast and seek the face of the Lord.
2). An high standard of Discipline is established inorder to inculcate a matured, decent environment and attitude, to enhance godliness among us as Levites to shine forth as a light to the world (An example of a believer) as singers – To become a Role Model in the music ministry.
3). Tend to Raise great singers, soloist, good back-up vocalist, conductors and also to educate singers and train instrumentalist, that will bring a continuation of the music ministry from one generation to another so long as Christ tarries.
We train ourselves and develope our gifts to optimize our potentials in music in the area of composing songs, writing songs, singing personal songs and hope to wax albums that will affects our generation.
AIMS:
* To bring the heart of the congregation of the righteous close to God through our ministration by singing effective songs with the influence of the Holy Spirit and preparing their mind-set for the unadulterated word of God.
* To bring down the awesome presence of God, and to edify the body of Christ, by declaring the mind of God to the wounded heart, and comfortless ones etc. in songs.
*. To establish a firm foundation for the younger generation to build upon, to grow as a truthful vine, not being spoil by the tradition of men nor by the rudiments of this world. But to give oneself wholly to God as an instrument of Praise, through the discipline measure that is established.
* Moreso, to look forward for the city of gold, where we shall sing and praise God eternally, preparing our garments, and our heart to meet with our bride – Jesus Christ. |
